I'm removing two stars because several items are missing from the menu. The Sakura menu was very disappointing and overpriced. Some evenings the owner refuses to serve hot dishes, which is unprofessional. It's a shame that the prices on the menu and set menus have increased so much. The service and the quality of the food have declined significantly over the years.
I recently ate at this Japanese restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The food is delicious: the dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, the sushi fresh, etc. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and the chef puts his heart into his work.
But what makes the place truly special is the staff. They are warm, friendly, and very attentive: you feel welcomed and respected, treated not just as a customer but as someone you want to please. When I had questions or special requests (for example, regarding a dish or my tastes), they were understanding and very accommodating.
The setting also adds to the charm: the atmosphere is pleasant, the place clean, and tastefully decorated, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
In summary: I highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality, authentic Japanese cuisine and service that really makes a difference—a restaurant you'll happily return to.
