Le Trappeur sur Mont-De-Lans

We ate there twice during our stay the first week of April. The dishes were excellent and very generous. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Great traditional restaurant! I came with my son, and the pierrade was very good and generous. The accompanying vegetables and potatoes were excellent. I highly recommend it; the welcome was warm and the service was top-notch.

This was a perfect place for us to eat out on our last night in L2A after a great week of skiing. We tried to book for earlier in the week but it was so popular we couldn't get a table until Friday. But we were so glad we waited! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a smiling and enthusiastic waitress, and from that point onwards all we got was enthusiasm, happiness and great service. And the food was outstanding too!! There is a huge choice to cater for everyone. Highlights for me were the ouefs parfait and the magret de canard with the myrtilles sauce, but everyone agreed everything was delicious too (our party had escargots, cuisses de grenouille, burgers, tartiflettes) and the desserts were amazing as well. I would eat here very often if I lived in L2A!!! Superb!!

Honestly, the takeaway pizzas are incredibly good, made with quality ingredients, and the waitress is exceptionally friendly, lovely, and always smiling. I highly recommend it for a great pizza with a sunset view.

Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert; it was delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the children were also very well looked after! A big thank you!
