We popped in because it was late and we were looking for a bit of shade, and Le Troquet was a wonderful surprise! The food was incredibly fresh (amazing oysters) and locally sourced (the desserts made with local strawberries were fantastic). The waiter was welcoming and friendly, and offered helpful advice. You can tell the chef is truly dedicated to serving excellent food. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend it.
We had a Smartbox gift set.
The menu included a starter, main course, and dessert.
A delight from beginning to end.
The dishes were beautifully presented, and the edible flowers added a lovely touch.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was impeccable.

We don't understand the negative reviews and those claiming they don't accept credit cards. That's false. This restaurant is recommended by Gault & Millau. The dishes and desserts are homemade. The prawns aren't just ordinary pink shrimp like in many restaurants. The desserts are divine. Don't hesitate to go. We're experienced restaurant diners and gave it a 5-star rating without hesitation.

A warm welcome and a very good meal. The scallop carpaccio could have used a touch more seasoning, but it was still very tasty. The salmon and prawn risotto were excellent, and a special mention goes to the revisited lemon tart. Everything was homemade. A very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it.

We had a gift voucher for a meal at this restaurant. A very warm welcome and excellent service. The dishes were delicious and a real treat for the taste buds, beautifully presented with pretty little spring flowers. The chef was friendly and engaged in conversation. The atmosphere was lovely. We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. If you're ever in Cancale, don't hesitate to book a table at this restaurant.
