Le Trou sur Dijon

We stumbled upon this wine bar during a one-night stopover and it proved to be one of the highlights of our trip. The selection of wine was absolutely incredible and the prices extremely reasonable (we did the blind wine tasting for €20 each). Every wine was explained with such care and the owner was so kind and friendly, even letting us taste extra wines for free at the end. The cheese board was also absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

This place. Such a great finding. I’ve been here with a group of 16. Excellent service, superb wines (we all experienced the blind tasting), delicious food and the atmosphere was just perfect. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you guys, see you next time. Noemi

At the foot of the steps opens a cellar with a warm atmosphere and for an evening you travel from vineyard to vineyard during a blind tasting accompanied by gargantuan planchas. To do absolutely.

Nice high end wine bar with an atmospheric setting. This is not the place to come quaff some wine before dinner. They specialise in blind tastings and old vintage wines. The setting is really cool, though be warned, it's not cheap. Staff member was really helpful and lovely, though spoke limited English, so we didn't get that much information out of our blind tasting. Still a valuable opportunity to taste some vintages that we would never have been able to purchase ourselves. I'm a big red drinker, but thought the red that we were served had been aged past their prime - there was almost no fruit and while the structure of well made wine was still present, I didn't find it enjoyable drinking. A good learning opportunity, though.

We were passing through quickly but we had a great time. The atmosphere is cozy, with jazz music in the background, perfect for a special moment. For wine lovers, you will be served! Keep this address carefully. We will come back to enjoy a longer time.

We discovered this place thanks to a gift voucher. We loved tasting old vintages. The passion of the sommeliers is infectious and we could have stayed for hours talking with them about their wines! We will come back for sure.
