Excellent pastry on my little feta, pesto and tomato tart but not that little as was full afterwards! Next time I want to try Jean's Feuillete, looked amazing. Lovely atmosphere, recommend booking.

A quick morning coffee break between runs because of the fog. We'd barely finished our coffee before the cup was cleared away. My husband hadn't even finished, and neither had the table next to us… everyone else seemed shocked. The service was oppressive. We're just tourists, good for nothing but paying customers!

First time in the ski area, we went on a recommendation and we'll definitely be back, again and again! Beautifully decorated, the atmosphere is like home, the service is top-notch with friendly staff, and the food is exquisite! We had a drink at the bar before being seated on a covered and pleasantly heated terrace. The baked Camembert and the tartiflette were both absolutely delicious. Judging by the reviews, we understand why a reservation is necessary before dining here. Keep up the good work, don't change a thing! See you soon.

Morzine ski resort is our go-to place every year for our ski holidays; the food and snacks are fantastic, so be sure to make a reservation, you'll be happy.

Our fav place that we go back to again and again - delicious food and wine in a lovely setting. They even prepared a vegetarian tartiflette upon advance request for my husband. Our only feedback is that it would be great to add vegetarian options on the children’s menu.

Stopped from drinks many times at Vaffieu, finally got round to booking for lunch and I'm so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, it's a must eat restaurant when on the mountains.

A huge thank you to Le Vaffieu restaurant! During the 21km Spartan Race in Morzine on July 5, 2025, the official aid station at the top of the first major climbs unfortunately ran dry... A complicated situation in the heat and after so much effort. Fortunately, the owner of Le Vaffieu showed incredible generosity and kindness. He gave us access to a water hose outside his restaurant and, with great patience, even took the time to bring the runners in in small groups of four so we could rehydrate properly. Without him, many of us would undoubtedly not have been able to continue the race in good conditions. Thanks to his help, this challenge was able to be completed. It's rare to encounter such kindness and responsiveness in such a situation, and I want to thank him immensely for that. Beyond the sporting aspect, such a gesture shows the true meaning of mountain hospitality. Thanks again to Vaffieu, which will remain for me a place associated not only with Morzine, but also with a very powerful human moment.
