Le Valmy sur Tours

I came to have a drink with friends, and imagine my surprise when it came time to pay for my lemonade! Having ordered a 50cl glass, I was paying twice for the lemonade listed on the menu: €7.30 for a glass of lemonade and syrup is a bit pricey, and it would have been more customer-friendly to mention this when ordering.

The perfect spot in the center of Tours. Generous and well-prepared dishes and salads, and homemade desserts worthy of a pastry chef. The express lunchtime deal (dish of the day + dessert of the day for €17.90) is unbeatable; I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. And the service was impeccable! Highly recommended!

I really like this place, which I've been going to from time to time for years. Their cocktails are excellent, the dishes are traditional and hearty, and the price is very reasonable. Plus, they're dog-friendly, which is very important to me.
