A great restaurant attached to the Chartreuse hotel complex. Great food, reasonably priced, very generous portions. The tarte Tatin really is special! Service was very good. I have no criticism of the team, they were just a little overworked and needed another staff member really. A great stop over.

Un bon restaurant , avec une carte variée,mais pas trop pour garantir le fait maison. Des assiettes généreuses ( je n ai malheureusement pas terminé mon plat avec les riz de veau) . Du goût, des senteurs... Des plats et desserts variés et originaux parfois, délicieux ! Malgré une équipe réduite: deux serveurs, deux cuistots (vacances des collègues, 2 mariages, festival Béthune rétro...), l intensité du service: des sourires, une disponibilité. Merci messieurs !

Having been familiar with the place for over 20 years under the responsibility of Mr Constant, I have noticed a pleasant change since the takeover by the new owner, already concerning the spa and the return of Gauthier to Vasco. Some will mark me as my favorite sommelier but you never know ;-) Concerning the cuisine of Robert 2 of the distillery or Vasco it is always excellence nothing to say it is always a taste pleasure. I have a small comment to make, nothing to do with the kitchen regarding the electrical terminals. I think that 15 euros for people who spend at least 300€ for a meal should have free charging Sincerely

We have already been to this restaurant several times but I was disappointed here. I think that the union of the 2 restaurants during the summer period (closure of La Distillerie) is not a success. Despite pleasant service, I did not enjoy myself as usual. The height of my disappointment was the apricot profiterole which is not a profiterole at all (no cabbage) but an ice cream with vanilla scoops, an apricot cut in 2 and a mediocre whipped cream. Which makes for poor quality/price ratio 😒

Very good restaurant, very pleasant setting Quality cuisine The waitress came to make the tuna tartare in front of us Very friendly staff All this for a reasonable price. We will come back with pleasure

cadre très agréable qui côtoie le château. Le vasco figure parmi l'intermédiaire gasyronolique entre la brasserie et le château le Robert. En réalité nous avons été un peu déçus. Le service est très lent et la carte assez restreinte. La gustativité des mets est très bonne, quoique dominante sur le sucré (ex la crème brûlée aux champignons est sucrée, la,sauce cocktail accompagnant les frites sucrée elle-aussi). Tout cela reste de bonne qualité et nous avons passé un bon et long moment. Côté personnels, rien à dire. Très gentils et aux soins des clients.

30/07/2024: I recommend this brasserie in the beautiful setting of Chartreuse de Gosnay! Affordable prices for quality cuisine and pleasant service Ideal for a family Sunday
14/07/2024: Strange, the weekend menu offered on the table is completely different from that displayed on the Web. In addition, the foie gras offered as a starter is replaced by a duck terrine...,...? The service is fast (very), as soon as the customers have left, their table is set for the next day, it is certainly efficient, but it invites you to hurry up. On Sunday lunchtime without service in the evening, there is no fire. That said, the dishes are good and plentiful, this makes up for it. 🙂

27/07/2024: Exceptional food and service. A beautiful place for a special occasion. Was totally worth travelling all the way from England to experience this!
26/05/2024: Good morning, We were very well received at Robert II today, with a very smiling team, we appreciated the warm passage of the owner in the restaurant room, a very nice team in the dining room who have very good know-how to serve us best and makes us feel comfortable. And as for the meal, it was very successful as every time we come of course! Congratulations to all the reception teams who care about our well-being with little attentions, including the service and the kitchen, we had a pleasant time and we really feel at home.
