Tout est dans le titre. De retour 2 ans + tard et c'est encore parfait. De l'accueil au service et du service à la cuisine. Les mets sont fins et délicats. Le menu Vauban est d'un bon rapport qualité prix pour un semi gastro. Que du plaisir de la très bonne huile d'olive jusqu'au dessert. A 2 personnes avec apéritifs + 1/2 btle de rosé, on est à 140 € mais c'est vraiment bien. Que du plaisir dans un milieu professionnel sans chichi. Perso, je recommande.

This is a Market Driven restaurant, so their menu changes based on what is currently fresh and best. We selected the Le menu Vauban and the wine pairing.
Our dinner started with a cold asparagus “soup” topped with curried cream. The portion was small, but adequate, and it was packed with flavor.
For our starters, my wife selected the Vitello Tonato, which was their take on a popular Northern Italian specialty. The very thin slices of rare cooked veal were topped with tuna and crisp vegetables. It paired well with the white Cotes du Rhone they offered.
I ordered the more traditional Duck Foie Gras with a sauce of diced plums and strawberries. It was paired with a very dry Reisling. Both items were excellent.
We each selected the same main dish, the roasted veal tenderloin with green and white asparagus. The plate presentation was beautiful! It paired well with a South African Pinotage.
And finally, the dessert course. We selected two. My wife chose the Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse which was paired with a glass of Rhone red wine.
I had the Pistachio Shortbread topped with Raspberries and a pistachio ice cream. It was paired with a different, less dry, white Cotes du Rhone.
We traded plates back and forth, and it was close, both were excellent, but in the end we agreed mine was better.
The room is small but comfortable with well-spaced tables. The noise level was low, so conversation was easy.
Service was very professional.
We felt it was an exceptional value considering the quality of the food, the beautiful presentations, and the excellent service.
