Today, September 24th, we had dinner at Vent d'Est for the first time. What a lovely evening! The owner took excellent care of us and prepared a seafood sauerkraut, which was absolutely delicious! We've never had such good sauerkraut, and the four perfectly cooked fish dishes included a scallop skewer. The dessert was also superb: a fig and apricot semolina cake—what a treat! The late-harvest Gewurztraminer we had as an aperitif was so delicious that I asked the owner to bring us the bottle so I could find out who the winemaker was. I'll probably order some more. We'll definitely be back.
P.S.: Thank you to the owner for the homemade mirabelle plum liqueur he gave us for our wedding anniversary.

An unusual restaurant offering exceptional Alsatian cuisine in Morbihan, including sauerkraut and excellent service. The chef is always present, and there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Don't hesitate, it's worth the trip. I haven't forgotten that the Burgundians came to Morbihan to eat Alsatian food, just like Top Chef. P.S. Thanks to Léa for the smile and the warm welcome.

What can I say? Once again, the welcome, the setting, and the cuisine were a delight.
A trip down memory lane through the dishes on offer.
A dish is successful when it evokes something, and in this case, it certainly did.
Curious epicureans, let yourselves be tempted by the cuisine of "Vent d'Est."

Even when we booked by phone, the welcome was warm and pleasant! Our first impression was confirmed upon arrival. Impeccable service, as was the quality of our meals! We were delighted with the owner and his restaurant during our visit to Vannes ⚓️
