What a wonderful discovery this little restaurant in the city of Vannes is! Small in size, but with a large menu of delicious French specialties at a very reasonable price. Don't miss it if you come to Vannes.

We spontaneously stopped here for dinner and it was a wonderful evening with high-quality regional products, including a new experience: the Breton dessert, Trou Breton. Thank you to the entire team for the great welcome and service.

26/09/2026: Excellent food in a great atmosphere from east to west
24/09/2026: Today, September 24th, we had dinner at Vent d'Est for the first time. What a lovely evening! The owner took excellent care of us and prepared a seafood sauerkraut, which was absolutely delicious! We've never had such good sauerkraut, and the four perfectly cooked fish dishes included a scallop skewer. The dessert was also superb: a fig and apricot semolina cake—what a treat! The late-harvest Gewurztraminer we had as an aperitif was so delicious that I asked the owner to bring us the bottle so I could find out who the winemaker was. I'll probably order some more. We'll definitely be back. P.S.: Thank you to the owner for the homemade mirabelle plum liqueur he gave us for our wedding anniversary.

24/10/2026: After two weeks getting fat here, still comfortably the best restaurant in Vannes.
10/10/2026: Thank you to the team for this delightful experience. The cuisine is subtle and flavorful, finally showcasing vegetables, with delicious ingredients, and perfect cooking and seasoning. The service is warm and professional, and the wines and cocktails are original and delicious. We will be back as soon as possible!
