A true highlight in Châteauneuf! Delicious food, attentive and friendly service, and a magnificent view that perfectly rounded off the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and felt completely at ease. A restaurant we highly recommend – and one we will definitely return to.

Great restaurant, very good food with a beautiful view. Friendly staff. It's a shame they charged us for a beer on the bill when we hadn't ordered or had one. Otherwise, I recommend it.

A dream come true... While I was simply hoping to snag a last-minute table—and one with a view, no less—this magnificent evening felt like a waking dream in every way. It all began with a very warm welcome and a superb table offering a breathtaking view—including a glimpse of my new friend, a beautiful dove. The aperitif and amuse-bouche kicked off a culinary experience that steadily built in intensity, delivering one exceptional moment after another. The starter of the day—a zucchini blossom on a bed of gazpacho—set the tone. The fish of the day—a monkfish fillet with vegetables, accompanied by salmon and shrimp—proved to be a true delight, each ingredient a triumph in its own right. Every single one of them! The dessert... a vacherin glacé... nearly surpassed everything that had come before it. In the heat of the moment, I almost – but only just 😉 – forgot the order in which to taste everything. The pairing with the local wines – a Châteauneuf-du-Pape white "Domaine Pontifical" (2025 vintage) – was simply perfect. All that remains is for me to offer a huge thank you to the kitchen and service staff, and... ...to look forward to returning very soon!

A truly wonderful discovery! My wife and I came for dinner last night and had a fantastic time. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious. Each dish was as beautiful as it was flavorful, featuring high-quality ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, and perfectly balanced flavors. The portions were just right: generous enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. We savored every last bite… and, to be honest, we almost wanted to lick the plates clean, it was so good (but we remained polite 😄). A big thank you also to the staff. The servers were remarkably discreet and kind: attentive when needed, without ever being intrusive. Professional service that truly enhances the enjoyment of the meal. Le Verger des Papes deserves to be better known and attract even more customers. It's the kind of place you're happy to discover and gladly recommend.
