Le Vesuvio sur Cannes

The pizza was delicious (10/10), the lasagna was 7/10, and the pasta bolognese was 8/10.

Good place, good food, friendly and helpful staff. It's more expensive than elsewhere, but yes, that's the way it is; the Croisette next to the Martinez is like that.

You absolutely must stop by this stylish spot on cannes most famous street. Their pizzas are excelent, and a glass of prosecco pairs perfectly wirh them 🍕🥂

This place is always packed and you have to stand in Line to get a table , the locals living in cannes come ti this place they serve terrific pizza , I have been coming here for many many year and always enjoyed the food however this time today I was really disappointed by the escalope Milanese and the spaghetti which was served in the side , they were really bad and not to the level that I have been used to eating here that’s why my stars reflected today’s food however I am sure that it is not the case most of the time , it you are in cannes you need to come here and try their pizza and very nice selection of deserts

Food was good except for our Pizza order. We were a group of 8 and two of our group did not receive their pizza on time. It was after everyone finished his meal. Their excuses was there is no communication between the main kitchen and pizza one. The place is over rated.

We stumbled upon this café/restaurant and are so glad we stopped. We had an excellent meal. Although we were seated near other diners, the atmosphere was charming and the food incredible. A very relaxing evening, exactly what we needed. All the dishes were delicious, but we saw other customers ordering profiteroles and we couldn't resist—absolutely amazing! We will definitely return; you won't regret it. This is one of the oldest family-run restaurants in Cannes. We stayed in Cannes for a week and searched for this restaurant every day; I always want to return. This restaurant was recommended by a local, and it's the best restaurant in Cannes—that's for sure! The wine selection, the food, the staff, and the restaurant's location are incredible! I highly recommend it 🩷 Vesuvio is a true Cannes institution. You can't miss this iconic address, known to both locals and visitors. The food is generous, efficient, and predictable, with a menu that delivers in a lively, typically Cannes atmosphere. The service is professional despite the frequent crowds. A legendary spot, ideal for soaking up the Cannes atmosphere and sharing a great time, whether with friends, family, or as a couple.

Passing through Cannes for one night, I tried Vesuvio, this institution I'd heard so much about. The atmosphere is that of a luxury tourist canteen. Crowded, bustling, and above all, noisy. However, contrary to some reviews, the service was impeccable. Smiles, attentiveness, and efficiency. As for the food, everything was excellent, from the eggplant parmigiana to the salmon and avocado tartare (absolutely divine), not forgetting the Burrata tomato, and the brasserie staple: the floating island (delicious). All this accompanied by a Porn Star. I'm talking about the cocktail… obviously. The prices are somewhat high, but we're in Cannes, in an ideal location, and the scenery inevitably ends up on the bill. A very good experience, although I'd probably go back off-season, when there are fewer people and fewer decibels.
