In the heart of this tiny village and 400m from the basilica, an establishment that has everything to please. Reduced menu but with dishes from “family cuisine”. A good plan.

In a very touristy village like Vézelay, we found the right price, around €50-55 for 2 (main courses + desserts + coffees and a beer) The restaurant is really not big, reservations are strongly recommended. We had a dog, all the places on the terrace were reserved but we were allowed to eat inside, we thank them for that. The manager seems rough and unfriendly at first glance, but that's her way of being and is not unpleasant at all. The dishes were good, but we found the plates a little light. I ordered a Chaource salad (€12 from memory), very good but just lettuce, a little raw vegetables and 3 slices of toast. It lacked a little consistency.

Restaurant with very good, tasty cuisine. Very good atmosphere.
