Arrived at 2:15 PM. We received a very warm welcome in the dining room with our dog. For a quick and delicious lunch. Excellent value for money. We recommend it.

An old-fashioned village pub, with many locals as well. Where do you still find that in Vézelay? Try the Melon here, from Les Celliers de l’Abbaye.

A delightful surprise in a very touristy area! Authentic homemade dishes, wonderfully fresh salads, and a special recommendation for the country-style omelet, all at reasonable prices with friendly service. The terrace adds to its charm! As we're often in the region, we'll definitely be back!

31/08/2026: We ate at this restaurant, and my partner and I ordered the Époisses tart, which was delicious. However, the John Dory fillet was so dry it tasted like it had been frozen. In short, I was disappointed. My husband ordered the chicken, which also seemed to be frozen... A bit disappointed...
23/08/2026: The price was reasonable for a tourist village. The food was decent, but nothing special. The pie was good, but my fish was overcooked. The beef bourguignon was good. I didn't like the pastry on the apple tart. Some of the staff are a bit odd, and there seem to be some communication issues between the chef and the waitresses. The wine was good and reasonably priced. The terrace is pleasant.

Le Relais du Morvan

20/04/2026: I didn't use the hotel's services, just the restaurant. I enjoyed the food (including the vegetarian options), however, two shortcomings in the service at our table concerned me. The staff remained courteous and apologized, but offered no compensation.
19/04/2026: The welcome was warm and the food was good, however the hotel rooms are in dire need of renovation. We didn't have hot water in the morning.
