I had a couscous barbecue, confit lamb shoulder. I always thought that when you offer couscous with so much meat, inevitably the meat was not cooked in the broth. And indeed this must be the case since I found the broth too liquid (to be reduced) and bland. We only smell the vegetables while the basis of the taste of the broth is the meat which must simmer there. In addition, this is the first time I have found celery in couscous and I found it too strong and not suitable. The semolina lacked cooking for me. The baked meat is very good but it is not couscous. The dish is hearty and could serve two people.

This is a lovely place with beautiful decor, delecious and authentic algerian food. Both, the owner and waiter were both very charming and kind. we went for the chorba, bourek as starter and the tagines for main accompanied with couscous. all very delecious. def recommend and I would go back.
