Every year I come to eat at this establishment, and I highly recommend it. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the service is impeccable. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is perfect.

Le Vieux Four is undoubtedly one of those restaurants you leave wanting to return. From the very first course, the tone was set: absolutely delicious snails for me and remarkable homemade foie gras for my wife. High-quality ingredients, perfectly prepared, and cuisine full of precision. The rest of the meal confirmed this excellent first impression: tournedos Rossini with truffles on one side, tournedos with morels on the other. Masterful cooking, flavorful sauces, generous portions, perfect pairings… two simply excellent dishes. We continued with the cheese course before finishing with a magnificent discovery: the chocolate fondant accompanied by pepper ice cream. A surprising combination on paper, but absolutely remarkable on the palate. The contrast works wonderfully and perfectly concludes the meal. And excellent cuisine would be nothing without equally excellent service: here, it truly lives up to expectations. A warm welcome, attentive, professional, and perfectly paced service. You feel valued without ever being intrusive. The customer focus is genuine, and this greatly contributes to the enjoyment of the evening. What we will remember is the generous, sincere, and perfectly executed cuisine, accompanied by impeccable service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful family evening at Le Vieux Four in Châtel! 🏔️ We opted for the raclette, which was generous and absolutely delicious. Special mention goes to the children's menu, perfectly suited and a real treat for families. The service was top-notch: welcoming, attentive, and efficient.
