Le Vieux Tonneau sur Aix-En-Provence

We held our post-civil wedding reception at Le Vieux Tonneaux. We had 30 guests. It was PERFECT! The entire team was incredibly attentive. The platters and wines served were top-notch! Thank you for this wonderful experience – our guests, who came from all over France (and the world), thoroughly enjoyed themselves! A fantastic start to a perfect wedding weekend! Thank you, team!

Excellent wine bar. The staff were very attentive and offered great advice. I highly recommend it.

My girlfriend loved the escargot and wines. It’s got a lot of locals and is in a nice, quiet location. I wish they had the ginger in stock, three of the non-alcoholic options were not available, but the waitress recommended a good apricot drink and brought a nice sourdough bread. Staff were friendly and polite.

Great place to share a charcuterie and cheese board with a bottle of wine or some beer. There were seven of us, and we had a lovely evening despite the weather not being on our side (rain and wind). The servers were incredibly friendly and even brought our tables inside so we wouldn't get cold.

A very pleasant place, with a terrace perfect for enjoying excellent moments with good wines. The servers are very friendly. Reasonable prices.

The cocktails were a bit weak and the glasses a little small for a spritz. The beetroot hummus was really not good, although the rest was fairly decent.

What a fantastic find! We drove around Aix looking for good food, a nice little spot, and a warm welcome, and not only did this place charm us, but the meal exceeded our expectations! From the tapas, the daily special, and the dessert, not to mention the cocktails and the wine, everything was magnificent! The cooking, the sauces, the selection—everything here is a testament to love! The service was impeccable, and I'll be back at the next opportunity! In any case, I'll have to return to try the rest of the menu 😋

Excellent tapas bar. All the products are very fresh and plentiful. The wine list is extensive. The setting is idyllic, on a very quiet square. Friendly and professional staff. Very good value for money.
