The hotel's location is excellent and considered one of the best in Chamonix. It's situated at the beginning of the city center, and there's a large supermarket and shops downstairs. The mountain views are magnificent.
There's a very respectful and helpful employee from Armenia (I don't recall her name).

The hotel is in the perfect position, in the centre of town, and close to the slopes.
Rooms were a little small, and there was noise from the bars across the road, but the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony of Mont Blanc was excellent.
Breakfast was good - nice buffet, egg station, and delicious pastries.
We hired our ski equipment from the ski shop - very convenient, though not cheap.
We have been returning to this hotel for another year, which shows how much we have appreciated it in the past. However, this year we left with mixed feelings.
As a repeat guest, you naturally expect small improvements or at least the same level of attention as before — not a step backwards. For example, last year there was a small complimentary bottle of water as a welcome gift, which was a thoughtful touch. This year it was replaced by a simple carafe. The Nespresso capsules were also replaced with no-name alternatives. These may seem like minor details, but they contribute to the overall experience.
From the first day, I asked whether it would be possible to move to a larger room, yet no one followed up or reverted to me during our stay. Additionally, one morning at 10:00 a.m., there was no cheese left at breakfast, which was surprising for a hotel of this standard. Overall the buffet was running out of things.
When you choose to return every year, you do so because you value the experience. But as a loyal guest, you hope for consistency — or even small improvements — not a gradual reduction in quality.
