Pleasant and intimate small restaurant. We were lucky to be able to dine without a reservation due to some cancelations that day. The host/wait staff who I believe is also the owner is pleasant and gracious. The entrecote was excellent. We also had the special beef in cider was good but not as good as the entrecote. The service was excellent. Our best meal in Bayeux.

We were very pleased with our meal at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the service was excellent. Good value for money; the dishes were superb, featuring delicious regional products. We look forward to returning with our family very soon.

13/04/2026: LOVED our dinner here. They were able to accommodate us on a busy night without reservation. Food was EXCELLENT. One of the best meals of our trip. All staff spoke good English which made it comfortable for us as tourists.

Au Louis d'Or

25/03/2026: Hello, I stopped by on Monday at lunchtime and I highly recommend this very friendly place with very reasonable prices. The best part is that the ice cream is homemade. The staff is welcoming. If you want to have a good time, go to "Au Louis d'Or" in Bayeux. N.B.
14/03/2026: Excellent food, great value for money. We had a lovely time.
