The food is very good, but the major drawback is the wait, even though we had a reservation. We received our meal an hour and a half after ordering. What a shame. Two hours for a main course and dessert.

A beautiful restaurant right off the main drag. The vegetable soup was our favorite. They have an extensive wine selection and the server was able to help make a recommendation that complimented our appetizer and entree. They staff were super friendly as well. The outdoor seating was especially nice. I highly recommend.

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. Excellent!!! Both the cod and the chicken breast were magnifique! 🧑‍🍳🤌 All the dishes were very very good. The dessert was superb as well. Book in advance. Must visit. Great personal attention by the owners.

A lovely restaurant in the center of Bayeux. Generous and flavorful dishes. The crème brûlée is simply divine.

A very warm welcome, a very pleasant meal, quality wines, and excellent desserts. Just be sure to check your bill carefully, as I had a small issue: a bottle of Poully-Fuissé was charged well above the price listed on the wine list. After contacting the restaurant manager by phone, he confirmed the error and is awaiting a refund. This should be processed soon. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant for discerning palates.

Excellent cuisine, quality ingredients, and delicious dishes. The welcome is warm and the service pleasant. The setting on the banks of the Aure River is truly charming. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return. I highly recommend Le Volet qui Penche!
