For a first experience, it was a success. The crepes were excellent and the service was great. I recommend it.

A centrally located restaurant with a warm welcome and truly attentive service. The galettes and crêpes are good, well-presented, and offer a fairly wide selection. Overall, however, the experience was more acceptable than memorable: nothing to seriously criticize, but nothing that truly left a lasting impression either. A good option for a meal without surprises, although you can find better in Bayeux.

I felt incredibly comfortable. I honestly didn't expect to eat so well for so little money in France. Plus, everything was delicious and the waiters were super friendly. 100% recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at Crêperie L'Insolite during our visit. I ordered the Fjord crêpe, made with smoked salmon, cream, and lemon. It was a simple yet very well-balanced dish. The creamy filling paired perfectly with the delicate smoked salmon, while the slice of fresh lemon added just the right amount of freshness. Sometimes, simple ingredients prepared well create the best dining experience, and this was exactly that. My partner chose the Nordique, made with smoked salmon, mushrooms, and Emmental cheese. Since she usually can't finish her meal, I was lucky enough to enjoy the last few bites myself—which was an absolute pleasure. The combination of flavors was rich, comforting, and just as delicious as my own dish. We left the restaurant feeling full, happy, and completely satisfied. If you're looking for delicious crêpes made with quality ingredients in a welcoming atmosphere, Crêperie L'Insolite is definitely worth a visit.
