Passing through Bourges and being big fans of Japanese cuisine, we decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon Wasabi: the food lived up to our expectations and the service was quick and charming… go there or order without hesitation 👏

Excellent restaurant! I was a little apprehensive when I saw the extensive menu, but my yakisoba was delicious! The noodles had a wonderful vegetable flavor, and the breaded chicken was crispy yet tender! The yakitori were also very good; the meat wasn't dry at all. The miso soups and coleslaws were excellent. I'll definitely be back to try the maki rolls!

Exceptional, delicious, perfect service. Absolutely nothing to complain about. And the price is very reasonable considering the general cost of sushi. I recommend it more than anywhere else.

05/07/2026: The best sushi I've eaten in Bourges. I recommend it.
20/06/2026: Ate here on a weekday lunchtime in June 2026 just prior to the premises itself closing for lunch. Premises was clean and staff were friendly. We do not speak French (visiting from an English speaking country) but were able to communicate well enough to order food. The food was excellent. I had the CC5 - Marinated Chirashi which was some of the best food I have every had. The chicken skewers were lovely as was the light miso soup. Would eat here again if visiting the city and would recommend.

01/04/2026: One of my favorite Japanese restaurants for years! 🍣 The quality is consistently excellent; the dishes are delicious and incredibly fresh. The staff is absolutely lovely, always welcoming and attentive. The service is impressively fast; you never have to wait long, even when it's busy. It's a place I love to return to again and again. I recommend it 100%! ✨
