Le Winch sur Noirmoutier-En-L'Ile

The restaurant was full when we arrived, however we were served very quickly. The food was good. A good place to eat in Noirmoutier.

Mixed feelings about this well-located restaurant with its large terrace. The service is very fast; we were barely seated before they took our order. The dishes looked beautiful but lacked flavor and portion size. It wasn't anything special. It felt like a restaurant catering to tourists looking to quickly move from table to table. A shame.

Arriving without a reservation at 11:45 am, we were immediately seated at a table for 5 people and a baby. A booster seat was available without a harness. The restaurant was full, so I think it's best to make a reservation. The dishes were good, but I was disappointed by the size of my rump steak, especially considering the price. It was very tasty and cooked as intended, but it felt a bit undersized. I don't think the fries were homemade, but they were still good. The tartares and the classic burger were also enjoyable and a good portion size. The desserts were similar; the Winch sundae is excellent for those with a sweet tooth but might be too much if you're not used to it. The service was pleasant and the staff were smiling. I'm deducting one star because of several wasps buzzing around the dishes and tables, and no action was taken or measures implemented to address the problem. It was noisy, but that's to be expected in a crowded restaurant.

The pork tenderloin skewers were amazing! The béarnaise sauce was perfect, the meat was cooked through and incredibly tender, the service was pleasant, and the waitresses were very friendly! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Meat...very poor quality steak...

Having recently visited with friends, we were disappointed. While the food was good, we experienced a long wait after a group of 30 people arrived. We had to wait until they were served before our orders, which we had placed before their arrival, were even taken. Furthermore, we were subjected to two members of staff smoking while seated on the veranda, not outside. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay, the person at the counter was loading the dishwasher without even glancing at us... It's as if the dishes are more important than the customers... What a shame! We won't be returning.

This is our second visit after September 2023...we loved it...I love EVERYTHING!!! We'll be back, third time's the charm, so see you on our next motorhome getaway....Thank you Two Picards from the Bay of Somme 🦐

Good food, efficient and helpful staff

Very good. Good value for money. Excellent service. Unpretentious cuisine, and that's a compliment. Too many restaurants mistake excessive sauces for refined cooking. The dishes are very good in their simplicity.
