le XIII sur Aigues-Mortes

A fantastic experience at Le XIII, tried and tested twice! While visiting Aigues-Mortes, we ate at Le XIII restaurant twice in the heart of the medieval city, and both experiences were impeccable. The welcome is warm, and the entire team is truly friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was a delight every time: from burgers to ribeye steak, including octopus and the must-try gardiane de taureau (bull stew), everything was delicious. The highlight of the Saint-Louis festival was the total immersion! Between the straw on the floor, the presence of animals (chickens, pigs, a ram, and sheep), and the staff dressed in period costumes, the atmosphere was simply fantastic. A wonderful idea that delighted young and old alike. Thank you to the whole team for these excellent moments. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

We went to eat with our children at Le XIII on the recommendation of Elodie's horse-drawn carriages. And… we absolutely don't regret it!! A delight for all the senses! The restaurant is magnificent! When you arrive, you don't expect such a pleasant back room. Straw on the floor, sheep, a ram, a duck, and chickens wander among the tables while two little piglets rest in their small Harry Potter-style enclosure. The children loved seeing the animals and especially petting the sheep and the ram. The waitresses were truly wonderful! Smiling, attentive, kind, and available for both the customers and the animals, all while being careful not to slip. Despite the crowds, the noise level was quite bearable. It was peaceful compared to the noise of the Saint Louis festival in the streets. The food was excellent! The octopus was succulent, and the rib-eye steak didn't last long on the plate. The children also ate everything on their plates. And the best part? The bill was surprisingly reasonable, under €80 including aperitifs and coffees. As an added bonus, the restaurant's music featured modern hits in a medieval style. I highly recommend this restaurant!

What can I say except perfect! We arrived for the Saint Louis festival and were transported and surprised by the atmosphere – a truly timeless experience! Don't change a thing.

Visit 1: Really nice little eatery. Lots of space outside at the back. Plenty of space inside too. In felt quite peaceful in comparison to the restaurants in the main square. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. The food was really nice. I had a Burger XIII and my husband had the taureau steak. I don’t usually go for burgers but it was delicious and I loved the fries. Visit 2: have come back just for a couple of drinks and are enjoying sitting at the front watching people go by.

A fantastic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent staff. We had a wonderful meal and the decor was very nice. We'll definitely go back when we return. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this restaurant thanks to our horse-drawn carriage tour with Élodie – thank you, Élodie! – a fantastic place. A real treat, and a wonderful team. The patio is very pleasant in this heat.

A fantastic brasserie, serving delicious home-style cooking just the way we like it. The waitresses are friendly and welcoming. It's a welcome change from the tourist traps on the main square. I highly recommend it.

Excellent café et restaurant agréable et sympathique par le personnel et l’accueil. Vous avez une grande cour arrière, assez chaude, mais rafraîchi par un petit Brumisateur, qui devrait être augmenter en nombres. Petite cour joliment décoré et agréable. Quand à la cuisine je n'ai manger qu'une Gardiane parfaitement excellente et j'y connais un peu. I'd love to spend my dessert at Chez Coco, a cafe restaurant with a few scallops, or I'd have a fresh tarte aux fries, more than 20 years ago, I'd love to have a lovely little one and an excellent fresh tarte aux fries. I highly recommend this and Chez Coco for fresh tarte aux fries. An excellent cafe and restaurant, a pleasant and friendly place thanks to the staff and hospitality. There's a large back patio, quite warm but cooled by a small water misting system, which could be expanded. The small patio is beautifully decorated and pleasant. As for the food, I only tried the Gardian (a traditional Provençal beef stew), which was simply excellent, although I know little about it. For dessert, I always go to the café-restaurant Chez Coco, located just a few meters away, where they serve strawberry pie. I've been going there for over 20 years, and it's always the same wonderful, excellent strawberry pie. So I recommend this place and Chez Coco for strawberry pie lovers.

A wonderful discovery! This charming restaurant is tucked away in the streets of Aigues-Mortes. The staff were incredibly friendly! The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. The waitresses were attentive throughout the meal, always so kind and smiling – a truly delightful experience! If you're looking to have a lovely time in a charming setting, I highly recommend this restaurant!
