Excellent experience! Warm welcome, attentive service, and delicious food. We learned that the chef was leaving... such a shame, we hope they find someone as talented. We'll be back when we're in the area. Highly recommended!

We arrived here just before the kitchen closed, but were still able to order something. And we had a delicious meal; great atmosphere inside and friendly staff. Definitely recommended !!

We highly recommend this restaurant. The seafood platter was excellent, the service very pleasant, and the atmosphere very welcoming. Thank you for the high chair and the thoughtful touches for our one-year-old son.

What a wonderful time we had enjoying our original and delicious dishes! From the camembert spring rolls to the plavova and the pan-seared scallops, everything was perfect! Excellent service and a very pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

Highly recommended. Excellent. The scallops were a very refined dish, the ribeye steak was absolutely incredible, the Normandy beef was truly sublime. Top-notch staff.

29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
26/01/2026: Very small but wonderful restaurant. The escargot was fantastic as was the duck and chocolate fondant. Parking is a little sparse but other than that it serves as a perfect dinner spot.

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for lunch today and were very well received. The young waitress was smiling and helpful, as was the owner... we will gladly return.
05/02/2026: I came here on the recommendation of the 8 à Huit convenience store across the street. Cozy atmosphere. Lovely decor. Pleasant staff. Good value for money. Generous portions. Visually stunning. The only downside was the slightly slow service. But to be fair, the chef is working alone in the kitchen. A three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) was €76 for three people. The whelk and shrimp were excellent, with homemade mayo. The daily special was a comforting tartiflette, perfect for February. We also had a crêpe with homemade salted caramel. I recommend it.
