L'Echaillon sur La Salle-Les-Alpes

As soon as we walked through door covered in snow we were welcomed by delightfully friendly staff. Our waitress was accomodating and a great laugh. Recommending the local galabier beer on tap, which she was absolutely right. The american pale ale has citrus notes and the Blanche had a lovely taste and full body. There's a great wine selection too. The food was exceptional across the board. I had the salade d'echaillon which was plentiful after a hard mornings ski in the off piste, filled with scrumptious pieces of delicately smoked trout, well dressed puy lentils, leaves and cherry tomatoes of all colours. The croutons were obviously handmade, good size, cooked with herbs and garlic, perfectly crunchy. Far superior than the bought ones. All at a very reasonable price, will be visiting again when in the area.

There is one thing that I did, I was interested in the fabric where the name of the restaurant is written of course, it is polyester

Very friendly setting, large room around a fireplace, an appetizing menu with its variety, note the exceptional andouillette and the very tasty deserts, a smiling and attentive service, good atmosphere, good place, a ski break which leaves good memories and desire to come back

Super high-altitude restaurant, well located in a quiet area and with a magnificent view, very pleasant on the terrace in the sun. The daily specials are excellent and not too expensive for a high-altitude restaurant.

Delicious food. Large selection of wines. The waiter recommended us a delicious dry white Sauvignon We ate salmon tartare and trout salad. We saw that the other dishes also looked very appetizing. Very nice service. We got our food after a few minutes. We waited for a table outside on the sunny terrace for about 5 minutes. I have no objections, I recommend it!

Excellent restaurant for a lunch break on the slopes. Fireplace inside, very beautiful terrace outside. Quality cuisine and impeccable service.

During school holidays, reservations are almost obligatory, especially if you want to be seated in the dining room or on the terrace. The service is fast and the staff welcoming. The prices are average for high-altitude restaurants, plus the quality! I highly recommend.

Veal head (French) gribiche sauce, French beef tartare, and a very nice dessert menu, as you can see, it's a restaurant away from the slopes that we recommend, terrace with breathtaking views!
