Surprise goal in St. Trojan. Luckily there was a spontaneous table for two - otherwise we would have really missed something. Gourmet restaurant at affordable prices. Very attentive service. Fairly calculated wine list! Any time.

Disappointed today, after a glowing comment left in 2021. Friday August 17 for dinner, we chose the filet de Maigre en croute. We were served a steak of Meagre whose cooking left something to be desired: cooked on the outside, raw inside, impossible to break down with the fish cutlery! One might have thought of a fish thawed during cooking. This was presented to us as normal for "pink at the end" cooking. We find it hard to believe that this was the right cooking method for this type of piece. If so, it would be important to specify this when ordering and to serve it with steak knives! Luckily the carrots served with it were delicious!

Un restaurant "classique", une salle cossue et confortable et une petite terrasse agréable où selon le site du restaurant : "Vous profiterez d'une vue panoramique sur le pont de l'Île d'Oléron et la baie de St Trojan-les-Bains." ...Si vous êtes Victor Wembanyama qui mange debout... Bon, sincèrement c'est égal car la terrasse, l'accueil et le service sont très agréables. Le menu du midi (25 € : E-P-D) est d'un parfait rapport qualité-prix. La cuisine est soignée, gouteuse et les cuissons précises. Un moment agréable à renouveler !

Un excellent dîner dans ce restaurant qui mérite sa 1ere place à Saint Trojan. Présentation originale, qualité, quantité, service impeccable. De plus le vin du coin est délicieux et à prix très doux.
