I expected much better. Lots of waiting and lots of cobwebs everywhere!! And flies..... average meal I don't recommend.

An address to remember. We can go there with our eyes closed. The dishes are excellent and the welcome is cordial.

Very good restaurant with a beautiful view of Aléria beach and warm and welcoming service. Special mention for the cuisine which is delicious and which is 100% local with real fresh Corsican products from producers. In addition, the portions are very generous. THANKS. Anaïs and Rémi.

Unexpected restaurant, price a little high at first glance, but enormous proportions and very, very good. Small menu, everything very fresh, nice setting and view, very smiling staff and the 2 very nice dogs. We couldn't make it to dessert, but our neighbors enjoyed it!

Non seulement le cadre est idyllique, mais en plus on y mange vraiment bien. Les produits sont frais et cuisinés avec soin, je me suis régalée.

A cozy and warm atmosphere, an extremely kind and considerate welcome, and cuisine that is inventive, surprising, fine, and very pleasant! A very happy encounter and one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Corsica! Well done and thank you to the whole team!
12/03/2024: Excellent and surprising address next to a roundabout. We would like to see it more often. Banish banal cooking, burgers, tasteless salads and everything we make at home. Here, inventive, refined cuisine at an affordable price. From appetizers to sweets and coffee, everything is delicious, fresh and surprising! The service is adorable and classy without overdoing it. The antique furniture and crockery, the music, the terrace, everything is nice without being stuffy. A big congratulations! If there were places like that near me, I would probably go to the restaurant more often.

la plage chez Mathieu

17/02/2024: We had a pleasant time at Mathieu's restaurant...very good food..a very pleasant place.Sabine is very kind and listens to the customer. very friendly and welcoming, we feel at home. We ate there in June 2023 on the terrace facing the sea very close to the beach, to say with our feet in the sand, back in Aléria we went to eat at Mathieu's today today this time in the dining room with a nice wood fire where you could see the cook putting the sausages, the beautiful pieces of beef etc. if you pass by don't miss this cocooning place to eat well
03/02/2024: A friendly team, equally friendly cuisine, and the pleasure of dining by the beach and the water.
