L'Edulis sur Granville

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! A sober, welcoming and elegant place. Very competent staff. The chef offers refined dishes, carefully prepared. Special mention for the cooking which is absolutely perfect (fish, meat, vegetables). An unforgettable dessert (lemon financier). The only downside is that the excellence of the cuisine would undoubtedly deserve a richer wine list.

A gourmet restaurant that well deserves its recognition in the Michelin guide. A 6-course menu full of taste subtleties and varieties of high quality products. Very pleasant cozy atmosphere. Great experience.

This is an excellent restaurant in the heart of beautiful Granville. There were several tasty little amuses bouches before the main meal arrived: one was smoked herring caviar, another was an oyster with a fruity base, the third was salmon on a little toast and lastly there was a savory soup. The appetizer was beautifully presented scallops with a Jerusalem artichoke custard and pea fronds for added freshness. A very light vinaigrette decorated the scallops. The main was a perfectly done piece of veal with handmade gnocchi. For dessert I had a crêpe suzette with heavy cream inside garnished with citrus fruit and what looked to be an extremely delicate maple leaf cookie for crunch. Just when I thought I couldn't take any more, out came two little mignardises to finish the meal, a macaroon and a fabulous little cream puff with quite a lot of puff! The service was excellent, the wine was good, the ambiance was classy and the food was exceptional. The chef would be a very good reason to visit Granville again.

We have been visiting this restaurant regularly for several years without ever being disappointed. The flavor of the dishes, the food/wine pairing, the decor of the restaurant, everything comes together to have an excellent time! A beautiful table to try during a visit to Granville!
