L'Embuscade Cafe Brasserie sur Villeneuve-D'Ascq

I went during the week. The "Ambush" burger was delicious, with a high-quality ground beef patty cooked exactly as requested (for once!), served with excellent fries and a well-seasoned salad. I finished it off with a small coffee, which was also very good. The menu is adequate and the prices are reasonable. I didn't get a chance to try the desserts because my main course was quite large. Excellent value for money.

Had to take a break from my meal to write this review, best filet américain of my life!! 😮 Warm welcome, fast service, and really, that filet américain... it's to die for! The portion is more than generous (I've already eaten half of it in the photo, and I don't want it to end 😢)

We might stop there by chance, but we always return for the pleasure of it. It's an unassuming place, but the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. Delicious dishes served with superb fries. Thank you!
