A very good restaurant with very friendly and attentive service! The restaurant will be renovated soon. I didn't immediately notice the slightly dated "leopard print" carpet. But we were more impressed by the good food and the very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at L’Empire du 8ème celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary! The setting is lovely, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. A huge thank you to Laetitia for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism throughout the meal. We are delighted to recommend this restaurant.

I celebrated my birthday with my friend. The dining room is beautiful, the food is delicious (especially the Pavlova dessert). I've never tasted anything so delicious. It was a great atmosphere. The waitress who worked May 6th (you're simply amazing). Thank you to this place 🌹

We randomly picked this restaurant on a trip to Paris. So pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding, our waiter was kind, attentive, patient and spoke English. The food was excellent. Get the French Onion soup! Next time I'm in Paris, I'll return!

My absolute favorite restaurant ❤️ The atmosphere is incredible; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The staff is simply amazing: welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. A truly wonderful restaurant in an ideal location. The food was flawless: the foie gras starter and the duckling main course were delicious. The service was professional and on par with the excellent food. One point to note: the napkins need to be cleaned properly, as they were stained.

What a delightful surprise this restaurant was! We enjoyed Angus beef and a lamb chop dish, served by the very friendly and professional Laetitia. Their meat was delicious and cooked to perfection, but the desserts were also incredible (especially the buckwheat one). Special mention goes to the Cointreau/amaretto/pineapple digestif and their wine selection (Angelus, Angelus' second wine, Petrus, etc.). We loved the current ambiance and decor.

06/05/2026: Alkaram was a double discovery. First, the restaurant itself, of course, but also the Lebanese cuisine. I left completely won over and I can confirm all the excellent reviews I had read. First of all, I wanted to highlight the staff's warm welcome, kindness, and down-to-earth manner. This was true from the moment I took the reservation by phone until the final payment. Secondly, I found the food very good, sometimes even excellent, with flavors and textures that are a welcome change from some dishes "reworked" for European tastes. Don't be fooled by the portion sizes, which might seem small; they are so rich that you won't need any more. Special mention goes to the pastries, which are not too sweet and much more delicate than you might expect. The wines are of very high quality. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable and the setting is very discreet and intimate. I plan to return someday.
