L'Enchanté sur Rennes

We stopped for an afternoon snack, and it was really nice, and reasonably priced! We had a cheesecake and a molten chocolate cake, with two iced teas. I highly recommend it 😛

Excellent place. Homemade, quality ingredients, and a very cozy atmosphere: there's nothing to complain about. The service is impeccable, and the carrot cake—whose recipe was recently updated—is absolutely divine. The prices are a bit higher than average, but the experience is well worth it.

A really nice coffee shop. A wide selection of hot and cold drinks, as well as homemade pastries. Lunch is available, with a menu that changes daily. Cozy decor and atmosphere.

The place is really nice. We had brunch with a gourmet platter. The drinks and muesli were very good. For the main course, the savory cookie, the potatoes, and their sauce were truly excellent, but the portion was too small. Half the plate consisted of salad and grated carrots, which was a bit disappointing for the price. For dessert, we had a slice of key lime, which was rather bland. The lemon curd was excellent but was covered with a thick layer of whipped cream that had no flavor; it was like eating meringue. It's a great place, but I have to admit I was left a little unsatisfied, especially with the dessert.

The wait was worth it: afternoon tea for two where we had two hot chocolates and two delicious desserts (special mention to the chestnut-chocolate cake). Thank you!
