A very pleasant time at Patacol. The cuisine was very original, a pleasure to discover. And to help with our exploration, the owners also gave us a lovely list of places to discover on the island. Delightful. Special mention to the Savoyard génépi liqueur, an absolute must-try.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday without a reservation. A huge thank you for welcoming us, especially since we were out cycling and not exactly clean after a rainstorm. The welcome and service were very professional yet relaxed: a real pleasure! The decor was tasteful with a touch of humor. The menu offered a touch of originality in its flavor combinations (a feast for the eyes and the taste buds). They even included a plate of potatoes to share! 😍 The menu price was perfectly in line with the quality and originality of the dishes served, as well as the excellent service! Well done to the whole team for this lovely time spent with friends. Everything was perfect!

La Cabane d'Adrien

05/05/2026: A fabulous lunch at Adrien's cabin! I was worried about the proximity to the main road, but once we arrived, we were truly cut off from the world. The decor is lovely, especially the driftwood furniture. We enjoyed delicious oysters, both classic and special varieties, incredibly fresh and subtly flavored. The seafood was excellent. Special mention goes to the mini burgers (shrimp or oyster), a delightful discovery. The wine selection was limited, but there were some excellent bottles (we especially loved the Pouilly-Fumé). We were the last to be seated, and the owner spent some time with us, sharing his story and that of his family. A magical interlude in the marshes.

Restaurant Des Dunes

11/05/2026: A wonderful stay at the Hôtel des Dunes! The welcome was simple and warm, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel's facilities are fairly basic, but the rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, comfortable, and very clean. The bedding is excellent, and you feel right at home. The hotel is also very well located, easily accessible, and convenient for exploring the island. A very pleasant surprise; I highly recommend it!
