A warm, friendly, cosy spot in an area of other more mediocre, loud, youthful bars. The best place to drink in the area, highly recommended.

A neighborhood bar and more Quebecois as we like them, full of charm and timeless nestled in the 5th a stone's throw from Place de la Contrescarpe. As soon as we walk through the door we are elsewhere, in Quebec, with its mural, the warm, wooded decor etc... Good beers including those with maple and cranberry.

A warm welcome from the bar owner, great atmosphere and lot of French Canadian Drinks, such as maple whisky and more. Vive le Quebec libre!

21/12/2023: Regular customer, I am never disappointed by their package consisting of fresh products only. Good value for money in my opinion. Be careful, however, for bo-bun orders where you should not hesitate to ask the staff directly (without queuing) because the preparation time can be very long.
06/10/2023: It's an awesome restaurant! The lady is very very nice, she received us while she was closing. The food is very good and the place is charming. Thank you so much !! :)

23/02/2024: Always pleasant The downside is the smoking room where it’s cold. Ok for smoking a cigarette but for a cigar it’s much more complicated.
11/02/2024: Very exciting place. You don't see the atmosphere every day, the service is good, very friendly, helpful, but away from the guest table they seemed rather disinterested and bored. The food was okay, unfortunately my crispy duck was not crispy and dry. But the appetizer platter to share for two people was great. Definitely worth a visit, but won't be coming back.
