L'Éphémère sur Hazebrouck

Excellent first experience at Entrepotes (not L'Éphémère, which is no longer open). Great value for money and perfect service, well done! We'll be back.

Good value for money (limited quantity likely due to the attractive price), fresh and high-quality products. The service was quite slow for lunchtime (even though I was asked if I had a time constraint), 1 hour 30 minutes for a main course and dessert, but the restaurant was full (and therefore quite noisy as well). No complaints about the service itself.

I recently tried L’Entrepote in Hazebrouck. The setting is pleasant and the staff is friendly. A special thank you to the waiter for his honesty regarding some of the dishes. However, I was a little disappointed by the advertised "homemade" aspect, as not everything seemed to be. The concept is reminiscent of small bistros, but the experience didn't completely win me over. The service is provided by a welcoming team, but they sometimes lack experience, which should improve with time. The portions were adequate considering the size of the plates served, and the prices are reasonable. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to specify on the menu that the salmon pasta is lemon-flavored, as this might surprise some customers. In the end, I had a pleasant time in a nice setting, but it lacked that little something extra that makes you want to return with enthusiasm. This is, of course, just my personal opinion.

The place was a bit noisy! Given the crowd, the restaurant was full. Perhaps a few adjustments could be made to the service; bringing the aperitif glasses at the same time would be preferable... Home-style cooking, tasty and very affordable!

A truly wonderful place, with simply exceptional value for money. Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it. With prices as affordable as at L'Entrepôtes, we'll be able to go more often. Best of luck!
