Welcoming restaurant and very well-organized service. Thank you to Kevin and Omer for their availability; they clearly explained the restaurant's concept and the composition of the cheese platters. I highly recommend this cheese restaurant; the cheese is high quality and easy to digest, with a wide selection of cheeses.

I really enjoyed the restaurant across from the grocer's. The service was incredibly attentive and offered excellent wine recommendations. We had a wonderful time and I'd gladly return. It was perfect for a light fondue appetizer or a plate of Spanish ham.

We had a lovely time at this little restaurant on February 14th. The welcome was pleasant. The young waiter was very friendly, and our conversation with him was interesting; you could tell he loves his job and enjoys working. As for the Savoyard fondue, it was delicious and well-prepared—a real treat. The side dishes were unlimited but well-served, so we didn't need to pay extra. I didn't give it a perfect score because I would have appreciated being able to have an aperitif other than wine, and I must admit I felt a little cramped. The restaurant is small, but it's a place I would gladly recommend.

We came to enjoy two cheese boards and the wine recommended by Emeric. We absolutely loved the meal, the service, and the friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Congratulations to Emeric for his professionalism, his advice, his presentation, and the way he assembled the cheese boards. You can see the touch of someone who loves what he does and knows how to share that passion. If I ever return to Strasbourg, I will definitely come back to try other dishes from the menu. does not like many questions asked, so be wary about that. Quality of the cheeses is good tho (i think). Got a weird reaction when i asked to try one cheese. But they have raw cheese (apparently) so thats good

22/02/2026: This restaurant is very welcoming. The service was impeccable, and the food was excellent. We were seated in the small, intimate dining room! We had a lovely time!
26/10/2025: A great Alsatian restaurant, with a very charming waitress and delicious food! The duck confit is delicious, I recommend it, and for those with a sweet tooth, the chocolate mousse is excellent! I hope to return very soon to see this harmless and well-behaved little dog again!

15/02/2026: The Au Cruchon restaurant is nestled on a quiet little street, far from the hustle and bustle and tourists. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you've taken a real trip back in time, like entering an old-fashioned Alsatian tavern. The exposed beams, traditional decor, and warm atmosphere create an authentic and charming setting. You immediately feel transported to another era. We ordered four different dishes, and each one was a true success. Generous, flavorful, and honest cuisine, prepared with care. The portions are very generous—it's best to arrive with a good appetite! 😉 After these magnificent dishes, we unfortunately didn't have room for dessert… and that's the only thing we regret 😌 A precious find, away from mass tourism. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Alsatian experience, Au Cruchon is definitely worth a visit ✨
