A charming and unique place. The decor is anything but ordinary, with dangling bras, mismatched chairs, and a Singer sewing machine. It's singular and perfect.
The originality of the menu, presented in a school notebook, is fantastic.
My Welsh rarebit was both hearty and delicious.
A place to discover if you want to escape the traditional, cookie-cutter restaurants.

The receptionist at Château de Tilques recommended your restaurant. He wasn't wrong. Everything is perfect! The atmosphere, the decor, the setting, the friendly staff, and the service. You can take your time to share a meal with your family or partner in a unique setting. The perfect meal, featuring local products, dishes, desserts, and drinks. I tried Grandma's carbonnade, "a delight," with a Cadette (a light, ice-cold blonde beer), and for dessert, the homemade lemon meringue tart was to die for... absolutely delicious. Well done!

Thanks to the Petit Futé guide for directing us to this establishment.
We wanted to try typical Northern French cuisine. The menu fulfilled all our expectations.
It was good. I'm not giving it 5 stars because we didn't receive the bottle of water we requested. Everything else was perfect: the dining room is unique, located in a cellar, the staff is pleasant and discreet, and the food is good.

A very good experience at this bistro. The atmosphere in the cellar area where we ate was lovely, with an original ceiling decoration (I'll let you discover it for yourself), and menus printed on old school notebooks—it really fits the theme. The food was good and the service was excellent (a special mention to the young waitress who was a big Ethel Cain fan). Everyone at our table was happy. A great place to eat.

I went there on Sunday, August 23rd, and was served by a young waitress, Valentine, who made the otherwise average meal more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the Welsh rarebit was too greasy for my taste and served with baby potatoes… a shame.

Eating in a cellar is quite unusual. The setting is really charming and original, full of eccentric touches (a school notebook as a menu, bras...). The dishes are typical of Flanders and very good. Definitely worth discovering.
