A lovely discovery while strolling through Issoire! Drawn in by the chalkboard menu displayed in the street, we were tempted by the three dishes on offer, prepared and served by the chef right there in the dining room. :) We enjoyed an asparagus risotto with a soft-boiled egg and shiitake mushrooms (for me) and a coq au vin for my partner. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying... the chef was kind and smiling. Well done, don't change a thing! If we're ever back in Issoire, we'll definitely return.

Always an excellent choice. Generous and flavorful cuisine. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, everything is homemade. The open kitchen allows you to watch the dishes being prepared. A welcoming dining room and a deli/grocery section. Good wine selection. A few tables outside.

It's delicious; the chef does everything himself, from the cooking to the service. He's happy to chat if you're in the mood. You can see into the kitchen, and the setting is cozy and very pleasant. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. A real treat!

A great restaurant for a quick bite of homemade food. The best part for me is the chef who cooks right in front of you and chats with his customers at the same time. He's warm and passionate. The dishes are original and very well prepared.
