Location and flavor, nothing else matters.
Update August 2026: After a year, we returned and it was a nasty surprise. The waiters were awful; it was like something out of a French comedy film. Three customers left without being served. A couple left without paying because they weren't served. I had to get up and pour my own water and cutlery. They kept sending duplicate orders, and desperate people kept saying, "It doesn't matter, it's fine by me." The food wasn't bad, but it was served completely cold due to the waiters' incompetence. It's a place with a hippie vibe, but that didn't matter last year because the waiters were on another level. I'm uploading photos.

August 10, 2026: A nice little restaurant (more like a beach hut, I'd say) in a great location facing the sea... if you booked the right table! A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere... simple but good and decent food... reasonable prices.
We're right by the sea! And in the small port of Guéthary!
We had a reservation... Ophélie and Mathéo were there to serve us 👍

An incredible setting, a smiling, friendly, and very funny team, and delicious food that varies daily. I'm a regular and I'm never disappointed. The place is very authentic, and it's great to still have places like this in the area, as they're becoming increasingly rare. The music is always playing and well-chosen. I highly recommend it!
If you choose this establishment, be aware that it's run with a relaxed, informal atmosphere, with limited resources. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, but the ambiance quickly makes you forget about it.
They also have occasional DJ sets that turn into dance parties. Don't hesitate to ask if you're looking for a more festive atmosphere!

Sea view, well-cooked and very good fish.
The service clearly lacks experience... Regarding prices, there's no menu; the prices of the dishes are displayed on a chalkboard (26 euros for sea bream, 19 euros for sea bream fillet). Drink prices are listed at the entrance (3.80 euros for a half-pint, 5 euros for punch), and the dessert prices aren't displayed anywhere... After deducting the cost, we paid 19 euros for both, which works out to 9.50 euros for a small slice of coconut-chocolate tart. That's really outrageous...

Hello, lovely spot, very cool atmosphere, decent food. Charming service. But a can of Coca-Cola at €6.66 is really outrageous, and a glass of Panna Cotta at €9 is a bit pricey. The potatoes, on the other hand, at €5, are very good and very reasonably priced. In short, over €60 for a snack for three people is too much, hence the 3/5 rating.

A fantastic place to spend a pleasant time with a magnificent view. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and Morgan goes out of his way to ensure everyone has a wonderful time.
