Les assiettes sont plutôt bien garnies et c'est bon. Prix assez élevés pour les plats et les vins. Service correct. Les salles du fond sont irrespirables. Lumière artificielle et déco d'un mauvais goût certain. Dommage !

I reserved the room on the first floor of the restaurant to celebrate my birthday and everything went wonderfully. I would like to thank the manager David, his sister Patricia and his entire team, Kadra, Alex and Hugo. Everything was perfect, be it the dishes, the service and the setting in which the event took place. Thanks again to everyone. I would also like to point out that the Arcades also offer well-equipped hotel rooms, at a very reasonable price. In summary, this is a great address in Valenciennes, which is essential to discover if you do not know this establishment. And regarding myself, I told them all see you soon.

Auberge du Bon Fermier

10/09/2024: It is a place full of charm and very well decorated, the staff is smiling and warm. The R room that we booked is very pretty despite the bathroom being a little small and with problems with the taps... but this is completely normal given the historic location. The mattress is a little uncomfortable but above all there is a big problem with soundproofing, however the place is magical and for 4 days it suited us. The catering is of high quality and the dishes are presented in beautiful crockery and the place is always just as magical too. Very happy with our stay.
22/08/2024: The service is very attentive and the food is really good, duck breast with these little vegetables and a puree, followed by a waffle for dessert with whipped chocolate compote... a treat The terrace is magnificent, you feel in a hidden cocoon Really nice place I will go back
