Back for the fourth time at Les Arcenaulx, a restaurant I wanted to introduce to a friend from the Var region. She wasn't disappointed, and neither was I. The quality of the food, from cocktail to dessert, remains consistently high, in a refined atmosphere with friendly service. The portions are generous, and the price is more than reasonable for a French fine-dining restaurant (set lunch menu at €33, with a choice of meat or fish main course).
Today, we had asparagus velouté, salmon steak with braised leeks, and pear and chocolate rice pudding. We had a wonderful time. Kudos to the chef! We will definitely be back.

Bouillabaisse. The soup was excellent, but full of garlic and chili extract. A very strong soup.
The baguette and artichoke dip was delicious.
We're Japanese and can barely speak French, but the staff were all very kind.
The portions were too big, so we had to cancel dessert. Sorry.
It was a great restaurant.
Nous sommes Japonais. Nous ne parlons pas français, mais le personnel accueillant nous a permis de manger sans problème. Merci.

A cozy and elegant setting in a charming former bookstore. Attentive service, a varied menu, and a remarkable bouillabaisse. Generous portions of high quality. An excellent restaurant located very close to the Old Port.

The setting gives this restaurant undeniable charm. We had already visited this summer and enjoyed a delicious bouillabaisse and had a wonderful time, so we wanted to return during our visit to Marseille. Despite an incredible broth and rouille, we were disappointed by the quality of the fish pieces, which were too tough to cut without a meat knife. The olive tapenade was excellent, the artichoke starter very flavorful, the wines delicious, and the service impeccable, but we were left somewhat disappointed.
