Les Arolles sur Beaufort

Fantastic welcome, very friendly, with free bivouac, the cheapest pint on the Beaufortain tour (€8), and a hot shower for €3 with no time limit; a blessing after a hailstorm ☺️❤️

Last stop on our Beaufortain tour. We were so glad we stopped at this refuge before heading back to Queige the next day. We spent the afternoon enjoying the chalet and its view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a delicious meal (soup, lasagna, and fromage blanc with berries).

The refuge is very well located, the view of Mont Blanc is magnificent! We slept in the small cabin, it was very pleasant! The welcome was rather cold... as in many refuges on the Tour du Beaufortain, unfortunately. The toilets are clean. We ate well at both dinner and breakfast, however, the packed lunch was truly shameful! Plenty of stale bread with a slice of cheese and ham and a whole tomato (good luck eating that on your hike!).

We stopped by on August 4th for dinner. The food was excellent; the Beaufort cheese lasagna was a real treat. Thank you for sheltering the stranded hikers after the storm. Highly recommended!

A very good experience during the Tour du Beaufortain. It was possible to shower and have dinner while camping next to the refuge. The meals were very generous, which was perfect after a good day of hiking. The staff were very friendly; I highly recommend the Refuge des Arolles.

A superb time at the Arolles bivouac. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very attentive.

Stayed on July 16th. The refuge is very well located. A warm welcome, the meal was excellent, and the dormitories were perfect. Highly recommended.
