This is my second visit to Les Bains du Marais, and I'm leaving with rather mixed feelings. The highlight is clearly the massage: impeccable quality, a very relaxing experience, a competent therapist, and a service that lived up to expectations. However, several details seriously mar the overall experience, especially for a €100 service. First, the masseuse knocked and then immediately entered the room while I was changing, without waiting for my permission. In an establishment supposed to offer well-being and privacy, this kind of behavior is rather inappropriate. Also, at the end of the massage, no bathrobe was provided for showering. The therapist left the room, leaving me literally covered in oil, without even offering access to a shower or explaining what to do next. As a result, I almost felt like I was supposed to go straight back out into the street covered in oil. Frankly, is this acceptable for a wellness service at this price? I had to wait for an employee to pass by in the hallway to get their attention and get a bathrobe to take a shower. The shower itself also left much to be desired: the shower door didn't close properly, and the faucet literally came off in one of the stalls… These might seem like “minor details,” but at this price point, they become real problems. The reception was generally acceptable, but hearing a manager openly berate her employees in front of the guests completely ruined the relaxing atmosphere. People come here to unwind, not to witness a public airing of dirty laundry. Ultimately, the promise and potential are there, but the experience is marred by a series of avoidable issues. It's a shame and disappointing considering the price. I feel like I paid more for the location than for the quality of service.

For my part, a warm welcome and satisfactory service.

I wasn't very well received with my gift voucher, which had expired two weeks prior, but the appointment had been booked almost two months in advance, and I had been forced to reschedule. There's very little availability during the week, and the weekend rates are higher. The manager authoritatively informed me that the voucher was no longer valid, and I had to argue for quite some time to get my way. The computer system supposedly wouldn't accept it. I paid an additional 20 euros to get my money back. The total came to 170 euros for a scrub, hammam, and massage (which was of very poor quality). The staff were chatting amongst themselves, completely disregarding the peace and quiet of other customers in the sauna and hammam area. I even had to listen to the sounds of a video an employee was watching on her phone! Lots of dirty glasses are lying around (unlimited tea and cold drinks, when they're available). The facilities are undeniably upscale, but the service is far from high-end. At these prices, you expect a different level of service... The body scrub, however, was very, very good.

A huge thank you to Fati for her kindness and professionalism. She took care of my daughter during a "My First Spa Day" treatment for her birthday. The entire team at the spa was welcoming, caring, and always smiling throughout our visit. We were delighted with our experience and will definitely be back!

Don't go there expecting a real massage; it's more like a body wrap at best. And even then, you have to get lucky. The person I had was clearly not a professional, and the price was exorbitant for what was offered. The body scrub, however, was fantastic! The premises are cramped, and once the teapot gets cold, it's not replaced. Dirty glasses sit on the tables for ages... I was very disappointed, to be honest. The prices are far too high for what you get.
