A good restaurant in the center of Provins. The dishes are well-prepared and the welcome is pleasant. No waiting between courses, good service. For my starter, I had a pork terrine with walnuts and pistachios, followed by braised stuffed cabbage with a foie gras jus, buttered cabbage, and parsley potatoes—everything was excellent. The Côtes du Rhône from Chapoutier was very good. Well done to both the kitchen and the service staff.

I love this place. The classic cuisine is exceptionally well-prepared with excellent ingredients, the wines are well-chosen, and the service is usually charming. My only complaint: that it's not open more often and for longer! 🙂😉😎

I'm surprised by the very positive reviews, as my experience was just okay. The snail casserole was a bit bland and contained far more onions and sauce than snails. The filet mignon was tender, but the sauce was too sour for my taste.
