Les Camelias sur Bagnoles-De-L'Orne

Hello. We highly recommend Les Camélias. It's a great place to visit Bagnols-de-l'Orne, near the casino lake, and for cycling and hiking. We had a very relaxing stay. The food is truly worth the trip; it's delicious. The young apprentices are in excellent training, in this welcoming setting, and with a wonderful hostess. Annie Guéville

A very pleasant hotel, close to the center. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We did have the small room, but the shower cubicle is really too small for optimal comfort; it would be good to replace it with a larger one. The mold on the bathroom window and ceiling could easily be cleaned; this cleaning really needs to be done to ensure a pleasant stay, as everyone knows it's harmful. The bedding was good, although the pillows were too flat for us. They added to the ones already in the closet, which made it much better. The hotel is very well maintained and quiet. The breakfast is good, with croissants and fresh bread, and the option to make your own fresh orange juice, which is very rare! Thank you!

We stayed for two nights. We received a poor welcome from the owner upon arrival. She managed to smile a little more in the following days. The room was dated, with a bathroom door that didn't close properly and peeling paint in places. We went to the restaurant the first evening. The menu was nice, and the food was good overall, but it was a shame that the "homemade" fries were actually frozen "homemade" fries.

We spent one night at the Hotel Camélia and received a warm welcome. The night was very quiet, and the room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful; we had everything we needed. It's a welcoming place where we felt very comfortable. Thank you.

We had dinner, and what a dinner it was! Fresh, local produce was absolutely delicious. The welcome was very friendly, and we had a pleasant chat with the owner about everything there is to do in the area. The service was perfect, and the snails were succulent, just like Grandma's. I highly recommend the roasted Camembert. We were exhausted. The setting was lovely, with a small lounge area with board games, books, and a TV. The room was comfortable. We will be back for a longer weekend. Thank you to you and your team.
