Les Canons sur Montpellier

I highly recommend this restaurant! Everything is homemade, and we made some wonderful discoveries with delicious dishes. The service is also very attentive. Thank you again.

A lovely spot, bring a hat & sunglasses if you are outside around 7:30pm, it’s a proper sun trap. The service was a little slow, maybe an hour for food to arrive, but we enjoyed fabulous wine while we waited. After our meal we tried an incredible vintage by the glass. Highly recommend this place for wine lovers ♥️♥️♥️

A great little restaurant in Montpellier, with sharing plates just the way we like them, featuring many high-quality dishes. Frankly, we weren't disappointed. They also have a very good wine list. The place is quite nice, with a good vibe. Special mention for the delicious strawberry dessert.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. I trusted the reviews online, but I was wrong. We sat for an hour without receiving anything, finishing the first bottle of wine on an empty stomach. Even though the place wasn't crowded and it was only 8:45 PM, two dishes from an already limited menu were already sold out. ​We only had tapas (the only items left on the menu), and we paid quite a bit for them. The only positive note was the wine. I feel sorry for the two guys in the kitchen and the girl in the dining room, who were otherwise very kind, but this kind of management is not appropriate for a Saturday night. I recommend the place only for drinks, but if you want dinner, definitely look elsewhere.

A varied small plates menu, everything was delicious. The recommended natural wine was great.

We stumbled upon Les Canons last night on our first night in Montpellier, and it was the best meal we have had in France ! The food was outstanding, I am still thinking about the delicious sweet potato, apple, and wasabi dish we had. Wine was also excellent The staff were so lovely and patient with us and our terrible French.

A superb place for lunch or dinner. The staff is great, and the food and drinks are excellent. I highly recommend it! :)

It's true the service is very slow, but the staff are friendly and if you have the time, it's not a problem. And it's really good (especially the sweetbreads), even if it is a bit pricey for Montpellier.
