Les Caprices d'Etigny sur Bagneres-De-Luchon

Came across this restaurant/bistro walking around on our first night in luchon...exceptional!! Service friendly and ambience very agreeable...they serve the menu de jour in the evening which is what we chose...2 courses for €19 was a no brainer for us...the food is different to what i am used to in the dordogne region and it surpassed my expectations without a doubt...i had the fish (it was eitger fish or pork) which turned out to be sturgeon...a tough eat...had to ask for it to be cooked a bit more...no problem at all...and i ate the lot with gusto..wonderful aromatic sauce and dribblings with bread to mop up the amazing flavours...tiramisu was beyond my expectations...cinnamon in there somewhere...was hard to figure what or where, but by god it was the best ive experienced anywhere, ill be honest! Friendly, affable and very efficient service...i will for sure be back again and again here...higly recommended...imho...

Very nice place, very good food. We had the lamb chops and the entrecôte and both were amazing and cooked perfectly.

Highly recommended. Excellent food. Top-notch young waiters.

Excellent restaurant! We stopped by chance and we're so glad we did. We were won over; the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. It's a lovely, welcoming place where it's a pleasure to eat. The daily set menu is also available in the evening. The gazpachos are varied and excellent. We've found our go-to restaurant for our vacation, and we can't wait to come back next year to try the lemon moune (the waiter will understand 😉😊). In short, don't hesitate, I highly recommend it!

I was very satisfied with the meal and the attentive service. The quality of the food will remain etched in my memory for a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

Excellent experience! Homemade food, lovely service! There were 10 of us and everything went smoothly.

Excellent service. There wasn't enough vegetables with the rice and fish.

Very good, pleasant and friendly service. A good daily menu, excellent value for money. Very good products.

Perfect. Fast service, a good variety of dishes, generous portions, and well-presented. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Yes, truly perfect!
