Les Caprices du Marche sur Ruffec

Fantastic welcome and a wonderful evening! The food was delicious! The entire team, from the dining room to the kitchen, was amazing for our grandmother's 90th birthday! We'll be back and thank you for this lovely evening!

Discovered by chance. Very satisfied with the meal and the welcome from someone who seemed to be the owner. They took great care of their customers. Thank you.

The staff were perfect and friendly (the kind of shopkeepers we love), and the products were varied, high-quality, and well-prepared. I travel 180 km to do my shopping on Saturdays and I always end up at this wonderful place!

Excellent restaurant 👍 A real delight with quality products 🥰 The staff is fantastic 👍 Thank you

During a stroll in Ruffec, we discovered this restaurant and it was a very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome, friendly service, and generous portions. We live just a few kilometers away and will gladly return. This was our third visit to the restaurant tonight for our wedding anniversary, and it was just as good and welcoming as ever, with homemade foie gras, veal onglet, and excellent desserts. We'll be back very soon.

Visiting family on vacation, we came here to eat on the recommendation of my brother-in-law who now lives here. What a find! Everything was perfect from start to finish!!! From the appetizers (foie gras, mussels and fries, hanger steak, sirloin steak) to the coffee with the homemade coconut macaroons, it was simply delicious. The owner (from Marseille like us 😁) is truly welcoming, warm, and professional. Excellent value for money. Perfect setting with children. I highly recommend it without hesitation. All the reviews prove it. Thank you!!!!

Excellent food and a great atmosphere with a smile!

We sat outside on a baking hot day, which was lovely but not cool! Madame is completely charming but the waitress was surly and unsmiling. Food was pretty good but unremarkable. Drinks were cold which was fabulous! The situation in the square is lovely though. It’s a good stop off in Ruffec.

Generous portions, carefully prepared cuisine. Locally sourced ingredients. Attentive staff. Family-run restaurant. Highly recommended.
