We went for dinner at Chenizelles after exploring Laon. Our host recommended it and we weren't disappointed. The food was great and our waiter was also very friendly, seating us in a quiet corner. Next time we're in Laon we'll certainly come back.

I walked in at 1:30, and the place was packed, but the service remained prompt and friendly, with a cozy and warm interior. I had an escalope with Maroilles sauce and fries, which was delicious, though I might have liked a small salad. It's a shame there weren't any local beers on the menu. I finished with a delicious espresso. Fast, good, and reasonably priced!

It's a nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. I've a question to the staff: You're so nice to costumers but why don't you speak English or understand at least one word? I couldn't even ask for "water" in English. That's silly. Bon Appetit.
