Passing through Laon, we made a great discovery for dinner in the upper town. We enjoyed the local specialty "ficelle flamande" and the foie gras in the salad was excellent.

The Picon was clear. The escalope was overcooked despite a good Maroilles cheese sauce. The green beans were unseasoned. And there was a long wait.

We visited Les Chenizelles as a family of five staying in Laon for the night. The menu is traditional French cuisine and all the dishes we had went down really well - especially the desserts. Overall, a really nice traditional French restaurant with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

09/09/2026: A warm welcome from the entire team, with impeccable efficiency and very friendly interactions. And the food! The quality of the galettes and other dishes was PERFECT... Sensational. Very... Generous portions, especially the country burger. Excellent prices considering everything offered and the location. Don't miss it! If you're hesitating... Well done to the whole team.
26/08/2026: I've known this crêperie for many years thanks to my parents, and it's clearly the best. The menu is varied. The dishes are a real treat, and the portions are generous. The staff has always been pleasant. The restaurant is also well located.
