Very good address in old Chauvigny. You eat very well there without breaking the bank. The staff is very friendly, the setting is idyllic and if you are observant, you will meet Jack the neighborhood jackdaw.

Perfect service until the aperitif served with olives and peanuts 👍🏻
Pleasant and responsive waitresses.
Pleasant and calm setting.
Special mention to Jack the Jackdaw who paid us a nice visit.

Great spot in the medieval town. Food was freshly cooked from very fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. Beautiful balance of flavour and texture. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Lovely experience!

Motorhome friends, today a short stop in the town of Chauvigny. For lunch in this small restaurant on the square, simple menu and friendly, smiling staff. This is often a guarantee of quality. As soon as we arrived, we were given a jug of water (given the heat). We take the chef's suggestion, a filet mignon where the meat is cooked perfectly, and a nice hearty gizzard salad
For dessert, a seasonal fruit salad and coffee
We met JACK a jackdaw. The restaurant mascot. They kindly come and help themselves to your plates.
I recommend this beautiful place..

Lots of waiting! Too much ! We gave up ordering dishes after a starter to share and aperitifs that arrived very late... beginners or lack of organization? Too bad after the spectacle of the extraordinary giants of the sky...

Very disappointed with what the jackdaw has become..
The vinegar is too powerful in the Basque Burger, and the caramel pana cotta... it's flambi caramel, I didn't like it
